關於爵諾/About Voco Novo

Voco Novo 爵諾歌手,是不用樂器伴奏來表演的 a cappella 樂團;獲 2015 芬蘭坦佩雷國際人聲音樂大賽亞軍、2012 奧地利 vokal.total 國際阿卡貝拉大賽爵士組、流行組雙料金牌。並以客家歌曲「花樹下」獲最佳編曲獎;2013 年榮獲 CARA 美國現代阿卡貝拉專輯獎《最佳亞洲專輯》以及《最佳世界音樂歌曲》亞軍(迢迢牽牛星)。爵諾歌手擅長運用人聲做出不同的音響變化,模仿樂器或營造自然情境,打造令人身歷其境的聽覺饗宴;將具有台灣特色文化意涵的歌謠改編為充滿畫面感的 a cappella 音樂。音樂實力獲國際肯定,也讓世界各地的觀眾,忍不住愛上這支東方意象,獨樹一格的台灣音樂隊伍。「看得見的音樂」是 Voco Novo 追求的音樂理想,要讓聽眾能從音樂裡想像台灣之美、感受另一片土地的風光。

Voco Novo 經常受各級機關團體邀請表演,於國家音樂廳與台灣各地演出,推廣人聲音樂。近年亦受邀參與許多國際巡演,包括韓國、香港、中國、新加坡、奧地利、德國、丹麥 、瑞典及美國;讓世界聽見台灣的魅力人聲。 

Voco Novo 在台灣活耀於跨域改編及創作,從古典音樂、戲劇、甚至中國最古老的南管音樂,都有爵諾人聲樂團的精采跨界演繹。爵諾歌手也致力於編曲、教學與創作,以及與其他藝術形式合作,實現一個最 “Voco” (源自拉丁文「人聲」) “Novo” (源自拉丁文「創新」) 的新人聲合唱音樂願景,帶給您一場最不同的聽覺饗宴。讓聽眾“看” 得到音樂、“聽”得到畫面。

 

 

Founded in 2009 in Taiwan, Voco Novo creates a variety of music genres with their skillful vocal.  In addition to pop music and vocal jazz, the group digs deep into their own culture, performing world music and self-written songs, which have become the group’s iconic style.

Voco Novo’s picturesque music have won the 2nd prize in 2015 Tampere Music Festival competition, and the Gold Diploma for both “pop” and “jazz” category at the 2012 vokal.total International A Cappella Competition in Austria, and took the “Best Arrangement” award with the song “Under the Tung Blossom Trees”.  At the 2013 CARA, Voco Novo’s album won the “Best Asian Album” and the song “Across the Milky way” was the runner-up for “Best World Music Song”.  Audience from around the world keep falling in love with such oriental sound this Taiwanese group creates.

Voco Novo enjoys creating new a cappella music with Taiwanese culture and nature scene.  Christine Liu, the Music Director, indicates the ideal is to create music which brings visual imagination to the audience.  Letting them experience the beauty of Taiwan with music.

Apart from performing regularly in Taiwan, Voco Novo has been invited to perform overseas, including Korea, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and the US, bringing Taiwanese music to the world.  

The group also focuses on promoting a cappella, as well as cross-over performances, to realize the idea of “New Voices”, and to bring the audience on a journey where music can be seen, and images can be heard.
